We need to vote strategically for Labour at the May 6th elections in order to establish Labour as the only alternative to the Tories in Devon. Strategic voting will help to build our long term support ahead of the next general election and beyond.
Labour was in second place in most Devon constituencies at the 2017 General election and we also won 2 seats showing that Labour has more support in Devon than most people recognise
Tactical voting almost always fails to prevent the Tories winning, under plays Labour’s true support and undermines our long term aim to win more council and parliamentary seats in Devon.
We need to encourage all progressive minded people to vote Labour as we are the best placed party to dislodge the increasingly right wing and populist Tories in Devon. The Liberals betrayed their voters by participating in the Cameron & Clegg Austerity Coalition and the Greens only hope of seeing green policies enacted is through Labour councillors and MPs.
Don’t waste your vote, say no to tactical voting and Vote for Labour on May 6th!
