Exe Bridges will undergo essential repairs and maintenance during overnight work in March and April.

Work to reconstruct and resurface the two bridges will start on the evening of Monday 4 March and is expected to take around seven weeks.

Most of the work will be carried out from 7pm to 7am, although some daytime work will be needed on occasions.

The existing road surface is in need of reconstruction. The scheme will also involve re-waterproofing the North and South bridges and repairs will be carried out to defective manhole covers, kerbs and gullies.
