TRAFFIC MEETING: 12th February 2020, 7pm at Alicia’s

This meeting will be an opportunity to consult wider Pinhoe community and gather evidence of the wide range of traffic and safety concerns. KJ will compile into a report for presentation to Will Pratt at Devon Council Council Highways, by agreement.

DCC Cllr Hilary Ackland, as well as all three of our City Councillors, will be in attendance. Cllr Ackland will provide an update on traffic across Pinhoe; the immediate problems with Church Hill/Park Lane will be discussed.

Former Pinhoe Councillor Moira MacDonald mentioned an extensive traffic survey which took place in Church Hill when the Home Farm development was initially being considered – we don’t know where that data is but it would be very useful for current discussions. Please contact us if you have any information on this data.

Importantly, the traffic meeting will include a presentation on sustainable travel: Helen Mako-Yule will explore potential cycle routes with support from the Exeter Cycling Campaign, Co-Cars will bring their presentation and both will be featured at the entrance to the meeting.

Thank you for all offers of help and to Karan Bennett for the minutes.
