“As a long-term local resident, I know and love our area. I want to ensure that it remains a great place to live and work for everyone. My track record proves that I work and
negotiate to get things done. I was awarded Devon and Cornwall Influential Woman of the Year in 2019 and have over 20 years of business experience, for which I was awarded
an MBE for services to social enterprise (these are businesses that solve environmental, social and community challenges).
I will work with other councillors to tackle some of Devon’s big challenges: travel and transport that’s cleaner and easier for everyone to access and better services for children and adults.
Looking ahead, a “Unitary Council” status for Exeter promises to deliver us as residents a much improved customer experience. Supported by Cllr Su Aves, who will be standing down in May, I will look forward to meeting you as I go out and about on the doorstep.”
