I am delighted to have been selected to be the Labour candidate for Wearside and
Topsham for the Devon County Council elections in May. I have been a County
Councillor since 2017 living in Countess Wear and nearby for 20 years.

I previously worked at the RD&E where I supported the cancer services team. I have a keen
interest in health and social care issues and am committed to campaigning for access to NHS dentists in Devon, and to press Devon County Council to ensure adult social care is available to all residents who need it.

I have also been active in supporting residents to solve problems caused by obstructive parking, and to discourage speeding in residential areas. Under Tory controlled Devon County Council, bus services have deteriorated, and our roads and pavements have not been maintained as well as they should have been.
