“Children just trying to get to school and people just trying to get their vaccine should be able to do so without fear of intimidation or harassment. It is completely unacceptable that anti-vax protesters have targeted schools and vaccine clinics, not just interfering with children and patients, but also hardworking staff just trying to do their jobs.

“Labour’s proposal gives local authorities the power to bring in fast-track protection orders around vaccine clinics and schools, to protect people from harassment.

“This was a really important win tonight, which recognises the huge pressure placed on those delivering vaccines who should be able to get on with their jobs. We urge the Government to now accept this common sense proposal to keep people safe”.
